Main Street Station

In true “Aloha Spirit”, team members at the California Hotel and Casino, Fremont Hotel and Casino, and Main Street Station Casino Brewery Hotel partnered with Make-A-Wish of Southern Nevada to host a tropical send-off for a wonderful family.

Greeted with leis upon arrival at the Cal, Xavier, an outgoing, funny, and kind 10-year-old, and his family were touched by the festive welcome. Diagnosed with leukemia in February of 2020, Xavier is finally nearing the end of his treatment and his wish was to vacation in Hawaii.

In a room decorated with a volcanic backdrop, tropical balloon display and cake, team members from the Cal, Fremont and Main Street Station welcomed Xavier and his family to a tropical send-off. Team members were eager to share their best tips for traveling to and vacationing in Hawaii with the family. Boyd’s Corporate IT team also partook in the event, creating a special badge for Xavier and making him an honorary member of IT.
